if they get approved and come over to work at Canada, they could be Canadian way less then 7 years.  See, Canada is so  "合情合理合法".

Well, if the applicant, say has a criminal record, of course the PR application will not be approved.  This is  "合情合理合法".  Hack, if you running to the law while you are a PR, you will be kicked out.

Nice try to twist my words.  So these 外傭 get approved to work in HK over the last 7 years, and somehow they now are not allowed to enjoy their immigration right.  Why?

Another 輸打贏要?  If it is the will of most HK people to withdraw their right, let get the law changed.

Whoever wrote this news article is so below standard.  "二十宗申請高峰，增幅足足三十九倍"  we were just talking about 20 applications here.
