ARMSTRONG (NEWS1130) - Police in the North Okanagan are searching the phone and computer of an 18-year-old woman who died after a vicious assault Halloween night. They're hoping to find a clue in [url=https://www.facebook.com/pages/Taylor-Van-Diest-Memorial-Page/134208500017618]Taylor Van Diest's Facebook and Twitter accounts that could help them find her killer.

She was found unconscious near some railway tracks in Armstrong around 8:45 p.m. on Monday, about two hours after she failed to show up at a party.

"We have over 30 officers working at the present time; We have brought in our helicopter, dog teams, our forensic identification unit, major crime [unit]... all working towards bringing this to a very quick, successful conclusion," says Gord Molendyk with the RCMP.

Van Diest died in a hospital in Kelowna.
