During this exciting exclusive event, you can join stachetastic Steveston stores and businesses in raising funds all weekend with special offerings and donation deals. Just spot the large “Ask Us About Our Moustache” banner in each window for guaranteed moustache fun and a promise of proceeds to Movember, the annual moustache growing charity event that raises funds and awareness for prostate cancer.

All month the members of the Steveston ‘Staches team have donated their upper lips to this worthy cause, and now it’s you chance to help us change the face of men’s health. When it comes to the Whisker Weekend, the more moustaches the merrier!



Whisker Weekend Offers

• Diner No. 1
  Order a MoBro Meat Plate – (Canuck Burger and a Beer) and $2 goes towards Movember. $4 if you have a moustache!
  Order a MoSista Sweet Plate – (Dessert and Wine) and $2 goes towards Movember. $4 if you bring a moustached man with you!
• Steveston Village Maternity
  10% of the proceeds of every sale will be donated to Movember. 20% if you have a moustache!
• Dam Good Soap
  Pick up some Stache Soap (moustache shaped soap) for a suggested minimum donation of $5 to Movember
• Bells Bake Shop
  Pick a half dozen cupcakes and include 1 movember moustache cupcake and a $1 donation will be made to Movember. $2 if you have a moustache!
• Outpost Mini Donuts
  Purchase the Movember Donut Box (Includes 6 “Manly Man” and 6 “Five O’Clock Shadow” donuts) and a $2 donation will be made to Movember. $4 if you have a moustache!
• Beatmerchant Record Store
  A special display of Moustachioed artists and album covers will be set up. $1 from each moustached CD will be donated to Movember. $2 if you have a moustache!
• Steve’s Board Shop
  For every pair of Men’s Saxx underwear sold, 5% of the sale will be donated to Movember. 10% if you have a moustache!
• VioletHill Boutique
  25% of the sales of anything and everything in store will be donated to Movember
• Nikaido
  Purchase “Poirot’s Blend” tea and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Movember (Why Poirot’s Blend you ask? Head to Nikaido to find out!)

  For every household that signs up for a Complimentary Assessment and Review Experience (CARE package) a donation of $20 will be made to Movember. Meeting must be completed before December 31, 2011 for donation to be made

  Free Moustache removal anytime in December with a Movember donation (not that any of the men are planning on getting rid of their moustaches, right ladies?)

  A $2 donation will be made for every Christmas ornament sold

  $1 for every beer sold will go towards Movember. $2 if you have a moustache!

  $10 for every 8 week wine kit purchased will go towards Movember. $20 if you have a moustache!
