Bear cornered in downtown Vancouver downtown

Conservation authorities have shot a tranquilizer dart into a bear standing atop a garbage truck in downtown Vancouver.It's believed the large black bear was hunting for food in a dumpster that was picked up by the truck.The truck is now parked outside the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

my friend said she saw the bear... she was downtown and police blocked that section of the road and she had to turn her car around.
