    I see. If I go again next time I should do more research ... Btw...the shinjuku station is huge that I almost get lost...(I don't know some gates actually closed after 9 (or 10?) and only one or two opened...and almost get trapped)

+1 for Marulilu. Have yet to try the breakfast at Tenhachi, have only been there for dinner. Their food is pretty solid. Go for their uni special (when in season).

i've been to both marulilu and tenhachi
i love tenhachi and have been there many times because they have a variety of japanese breakfasts and they're all very yummy!!

marulilu was just so so.  tried their natto breakfast, i remember.  portion was a bit small for the price they charge.
