Keyboard has different grade as well, similar to a normal piano. Obviously the more you pay, the more functions and realistic it will become. The benefits of keyboard is that it is much lighter and portable than normal piano.

Bear in mind that a typical keyboard has 50% markup. Costco has some Casio that you might be interested in.

I think I get it now...those digital piano....the key is heavier so it more feels like real piano.
The keyboard's key is lighter. I guess if you want to have it for "fun", get keyboard, much cheaper. If you want real "piano feel" (the key press), then have to get digital piano if not piano.

I've bought a used yamaha p-85 (digital piano) from craigslist 6 months ago, you can probably easily find one for under $500 from there, Loving every single moment learning from this awesome piano!

so just a side note

my frd was asking about the difference between keyboard and piano
my aunt who teaches piano pointed out that keyboard often will 彈壞手 and kinda hard to swtich back to piano cuz the "feel" of the key is different wor.....

    Well true. Once get used to keyboard it's hard to switch back to piano because the key is much harder to "press".

When you touch the key, you will hear, you will feel, and then you will tell the difference between Acoustic Piano and Digital Piano.
