Imperial parking ticket ticket, something, receive, parking

In mid-December, I went to kingsway sushi with a bunch of friends for lunch... We didn't know we had to pay for their underground parking so when we were done lunch we found parking tickets on each of our cars for failure to display valid parking receipt. We went back up to kingsway sushi and talked to the manager and he told us that he will call and have it waived off, if we receive a letter 1-2 weeks later, bring it back to him and he'll do something about it. It was obviously not his first time having to deal with such situation... 仲要串我地盲兼無腦. I swear he picks on teenagers. 次次去親都係食晚飯，次次都唔使畏錢泊車，無端端 lunch time 就要畏... 鬼知咩， 門口又唔貼張牌，鬼鬼祟祟貼係唔經過嘅地方， 想點啊？

So fastward to a month later, I just got the collection mail + extra $20 fine, which should have been waived off.. What should I do now?
The manager took my original ticket to have it waived off.

One thing for sure... Never ever going to kingsway sushi, cheap but horrible food, horrible service....

Hmm....the notice is pretty big in the parking lot I remember....ask the manger again la....

i assume that the manager got ALL the tickets from everyone one of you ?

ya, talk to the manager again, if the manager denies/refuses about waiving it, try to phone imperial parking and explain the situation...i think it is convincing since it involves multiple tickets at the same time & lot

if imperial parking never had a record of your car/name, i think they would give you a break by reducing the amount, in case if it needs to be paid off at the end...

i had experience with dealing with imperial, situation was that i got a ticket 5 minutes over what i paid for...the ticket at the end reduced from about 25???(don't remember the exact amount)   to 10...

just don't talk rudely...good luck...
