The ever popular $57 Fido Smart Plan, supposed to be discontinued in Nov 28, now extended to Dec 31 with $1 price drop!

- 2GB of LTE ready data

This plan is only eligible for up to 2 years agreement, meaning if you want iPhone, you will have to pay more for subsidize pricing. The plan is also bill by the minute.

This is a current market plan that is on Fido.ca, you should not need to beg/yell at them to get it.

As a retention plan holder, I am paying the $63 after tax for similar things except with 6 GB of data (I max out at 3GB most times). I bit the bullet to change the plan because it is just too good, especially with unlimited minutes. Data is $5/500MB extra.

yeah! It's a good plan. But I really don't use calling minutes much.
I will stick with my 200min + 6GB data plan for now. $53 tax-in.

Its just pain to see these promotions after i signed a new contract but its a nice plan if ur contract is nearly end

This, is really City Fido from way back then. With all the extra stuff they are throwing it in, the prices now is even lower.

To be fair, LTE is NOT cheap. Even Rogers admitted that LTE is expensive to build as it is a very expensive technology to adopt. If Fido can let me use their LTE for free, then it's a bonus to me. I just love 43Mbps data at any time. I've attached the speed tests of LTE and 21Mbps HSPA+.

D can definitely take advantage of this plan. I use at least 250min during day time. The call forward feature is something I miss for many years.

If you are in a contract, you cannot terminate it, but you can definitely make changes to it.
I am on contract until March 2014 and I just got from retention to this.

Just call them up, it's a market plan until end of Dec.
