anyone know a reliable place where i can unlock my iphone?  hopfully not too expensive as well
i saw on craigslist unlock services range from $5-35, but don't know if they are trustworthy

DIY is not that hard...i have done it for a few times..just have to follow directions carefully

I spent HK$980 for a "Iphone--Made in China" and I do not worry how to unclock. As well, it only cost me HK$3,900 for the geniuen Apple that need no unlock as well.
How much you paid for the Canadian or U.S. Apple ?
