What are the differences between the Richmond night market and the International night market behind Home Depot besides their location? Which one do you think is better (price, food, products, the place...)?
There was a bitter legal battle between Rmd night market and (believe it or not, the original founder of RNM) International Night Market back then.
Problem was that the original founder/starter of RNM who started it all/small, didn't register the trade mark for RNM, and after a few years and the operation became successful, someone came along and took legal possessions of RNM (legally). The founder tried to raise a lawsuit against them but failed, so he started another one in Rmd called International Night Market.
Which one is better? Dunno. Last time we were there was about over a decade ago...
I've been to the Richmond Night Market (the one besides River Rock). Parking is easier and my little girl like to see the all those yellow duck... Haven't been to the Home Depot one yet.
I went there for the food and really easy to spend $50/$60 for the 3 of us (and my girl doesn't even eat much). It's ok if not too much to do at night and wanna walk around.
