Yeah that's why I never donate to World Vision.
I donated to Red Cross online. So happy that my company will do dollar to dollar match (has an upper limit) to our donation.

i don't donate to the red cross after the hurricane katrina incident... i heard from the news and read the newspaper reports that there's been a fraud... the money donated to the red cross, the red cross converted these money into a $1000 credit card for each hurricane victimized family...news reported that several red cross employees took advantage of the funds and into their wallets. they have been arrested by the federal.

at times like these, i understand that people want to donate money for the victims, i would re-consider where the money is going to. i want to make sure that my money goes into effort and not into the wrong hands.
