both pic 2 and pic 3 were taken in same time?  a bit of on metering? ( so it is dark? )

Well, next time, when u focus on WHITE object, you can set to + 1/3  and on black object, u can set to -1/3. ( if u use one spot metering)

I guess that is why, your pic I is a bit over, and picII is a bit under.
