hey hey   Social event and gathering in July~
Anyone wanna come out?

It would be more chill to have a group of LYK come out~ Not only we get to meet each other~ we get to meet other people outside this community.

Here are the details.

My friends are helping out with a BBQ - selling tickets, trying to get people to come out for this social event. The proceeds will go towards the Vancouver Whitecaps
$20 per person includes tickets to the game and food.
BBQ~ all they can provide you and all you can eat.  The main idea is to get out and meet new people, expose to opportunities for various reasons and cheer Vancouver on.
If you're not into that, think of it as....coming out with your friends just to chill AND watch the game. =) equally good!

We're aiming for July 9th 2009.
Vancouver will be playing against the Minnesota Thunder at 7:30pm
BBQ will be held an hour before the game.

I'm going to spread the words to the dragon boat team, as well as my circle of friends... see if anyone is interested in doing networking, chilling, eating and watching the game.

It's a good idea to have a company event at this bbq.
there's no dress code~ very casual and down to earth event.

People attending:  athletes , managers, sales, executives, coordinators, volunteers, students, sport team coaches, IT, engineers, accountants, parents!!  BUT NOT LIMIT TO THE ABOVE.

so that's why I think it'd be cool if LYK wanna come out and meet some friends
even just friends amongst ourselves hahaha.
not a lot of us had seen each other in person anyway, eh?

    * July 9th Thursday 6:30pm approximately (might start early).
    * "Whitecaps pre-game BBQ + Whitecaps game ticket = $20 package!!!  
    * 2 years old or under dun need to pay
    * No tickets at the door. all tix are sold BEFORE game date.

    * ******* BBQ is All you can eat. MENU:********

- Hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken burgers, pork sandwiches, veggie burgers
- Pasta Salad & Green Salad
- Desert – Nanaimo Bars, Tiger Brownies, Butter Tarts
- Pop and Water
- Chips
