Haven't listen to 1470 for a while. Only know that 李婉華's usual weekday program got cut but today just realized that Mary Lo 1-2pm weekday program also get changed? No more Mary Lo now? Didn't hear anything about her supporting protest though, but still got "X"?

Fact is, fairchild radio (and it's parent company) is not doing well these days: significant drops in advertisements from customers, etc. so they are  (a ) trimming fat off like Mary Lo, etc. and (b ) gotten rid of Anita Lee because of that HK song (it's political, you know).....they hope that they can get extra fundings from you-know-who, kinda like what happened to 1320 but hey! they too (you-know-who) is quickly running out of foreign reserves now...re: funding news media to become pro....xxx...

    I seriously think that cutting budget on program will make things even worse! Bad show = less people = less advertisement... come on...

they are entering vicious-cycle: the more they cut their budget and shaving off good staffs, the worse their program becomes. The worse their program becomes, less listeners; less listeners = less attraction for biz to put in their adverts .....good luck to them...
