change bank la... nowaday everyone uses free banking (PC, ING, etc.), they offer online banking and ATMs, no personal contact is needed... when you need financial advice or mortgage, just get a rep., it's the easiest and cheapest way to do banking and this is what I am doing now and I'm so happy about it...

Even in HK, HSBC also no good customer service...and I'm never a HSBC customer...
I only keep HSBC master card since it offers discount in many HK stores...

No, I love the HSBC in Central (main branch I guess), their SDB (safe deposit box) is so formal and beautiful and customer service is good too... way better than any bank here....

I have no problem with HSBC wor.. they are quite nice ah~ I mainly go to Aberdeen and Parker Place.. didnt see any "輕佻朴街仔﹑或狗眼後生女"...

轉銀行啦, 我 N 年唔用 HXBC 喇, 你試下 RXBXC 啦, burnaby 某分行有個厚粉女 teller ( 我估係中國 or 台灣人)好鐘意著低胸迷你裙返工架,  有次佢一邊去部機度入錢, 一邊挨住另一個男同事傾計
真係好熱情奔放架! 不過我覺得 teller 呢份工唔係好適合佢~ 除左呢個之外其他RXBXC tellers service 都幾好既

又或者  TXDX 啦 , so far 我覺得service 幾好

其實話時話﹐d 公司唔係有 DRESS CODE 架咩﹖ 銀行著成這樣返工都唔知成咩體統﹐無D專業。。。

以前同分行還有另一個胖韓妹成日著拖鞋返工都無人話下她﹐真係唔知咩銀行黎﹐一D都唔尊重D顧客

They ask for photo copy of people's identification too easily and want to make photo copies all the time.
One time I want to buy a bank draft with cash ( less than 5k actually afew hundred dollars only ) they still want to photo copy my sin and citizenship card. I refused cause they can use the photo copy to create insurance or bank accounts for illegal immigrants in discreet to meet their quotas. They think I dont know the reporting rules.

These staff ask too often for identitification needlessly often breaching privacy rules.
You need to obey them. They are there to serve you not for you to obey them.
Their supervisor should lay down the guidelines when to ask for identification.

建議你去唐人街是但一間銀行返一個禮拜工(最好月尾果個禮拜), 你唔單只會想鬧人, 想殺人添呀!

HSBC的手續費超貴,試過一個月交$40手續費,所以我轉左第間bank now.

Well, customer service @ HSBC is generally not as good as other banks. However, sometimes clients do have unreasonable requests (actually it happens quiet often...haha...). At the end of the day, bank representatives need to know how to handle frustrated customers regardless whether they are resaonable or not.

so the tact to deal with bank employee is, to give them a bait... e.g., you might want to do some admin only (e.g. name change, address change) but at the same time tell them you are going to have a big money to invest or even better, you are buying a new home, might need mortgage

trust me, they will treat you like king

    Same here, I used RBC and TD. Even though RBC service fee is not cheap, I do think their service is better. TD is even better...I love the extended hour!

以前投訴客戶服務部，還會跟你說聲謝謝~
現在都還站在自家人立場，堅持不認錯...
如果不是配合的那位小姐還不錯，應該早就離開他們了~~
((之所以之前會投訴是因為去別家分行受到令人很難以忍受的服務態度！
豈料，投訴之後依然故我....只好怨嘆....雖然分行很多，但還是最好回到原開戶行才能夠有比較好的服務....))

You do not need to be rich to use HSBC service in any BIG city in the world. Good luck if you want to find a big 5 branch in Tapei or Bangkok or any where in the world. For me, it is very comforting to find HSBC ATM at a foreign airport and know there is a branch in the city. Having money close by is sometimes more important than the Canadian Consolate

I think they will be even worse as more China ppl coming to Vancouver, as they all know this brand and they would not worry about no business....

compare to other big banks, hksc has the worst technology
