This reminds me of lifeguards who are trained to knock people out in order to save them from drowning. indeed who would vot wrong?

I don't know what to vote...if the woman is fine people will say they did the right thing...but if she died then people will say they're horribly wrong...however, the intention is good, just want to save people

I am one of the people who voted "right". However, deep in my heart.............. they should have pretended they could do nothing and let her jump down even faster!

yeah, I remember from the movie "the guardian"
where coast guard would have to knock people out first
cuz some people when they are panic, they would do all kind of things unconciously and making things worst

目擊街坊稱，當時一人撲前捉着她雙手，但張女起「倀雞腳」撐向消防員，兩拍檔乘機夾攻埋身肉搏，張女再起腳時已被捉住，當場失平衡向左傾側，幸及時被消防員從後熊抱箍着，窗前同袍擬接應，惟張女拚死掙扎，扯甩其中一人的消防帽擲落街，並企圖扯斷救生繩。甩帽消防員無計可施，被迫兩度用「手刀」劈向張女頭部將她揼暈，各人擬趁機將她從窗邊抬入屋時，張女突甦醒再發難反抗，負責熊抱的消防員即向她「批㬹」及拳擊腹部，當她被制服時，再有人「補多一㬹」，終結束兩分鐘高空生死搏鬥。張女表面無受傷，但情緒仍未平復，她送院時顯得虛脫疲累，有消息指她獲救後情況一度危殆，是因癲癇症病發所致，並非因遭消防員拳擊身體引致。警方經調查獲知她患有抑鬱症兩年。
事後消防處發言人解釋，根據隊員形容女事主當時情緒極不穩，他們只是為達到救人目的，見機行事，該處認為事件中的救人手法並無不恰當。不過，事件卻揭發原來飛將軍裝備不足，當日三名飛將軍其中兩人只靠一條單繩保命。據悉，消防處早前向保安局申請九百萬元替消防員購置企跳拯救裝備，但竟被當局以「飛將軍一向係咁做」為由拒絕。消防處職工總會則指出，三名消防員只有一人的安全帶有後備繩，另外兩人的安全帶只有一條尼龍繩，該繩只有一層帆布保護，事主不斷擺動會令安全帶摩擦有耗損，消防員是「搵命博」，三人亦遭她踢到瘀傷。
