曹格一旦被落案起訴並交法庭審理，一直帽不離頭的側田隨時進一步「受害」，屆時作為主要證人的側田如被傳召出庭作供，他必須除帽進庭以示尊重，其頭頂真面目便要被迫示於人前。法律界人士黃國桐稱，除非因宗教或習俗理由，像南亞裔人士用布裹頭，否則難獲豁免戴帽作供。

側田自○五年進軍樂壇以來，一直力保頭頂「神秘面紗」，鴨舌帽、頭巾及冷帽從不離「頭」，過去甚至拍攝廣告「翻觔斗」時，帽子亦未曾甩過。甚至與曹格起爭執當日，他雖然被人連番推倒地上，在人堆中碌地沙，但其帽子始終無甩，故其所戴帽子被外界稱為「神奇帽」之餘，亦被懷疑是否長期以萬能膠將帽黐實。

另外，曹格與側田的演藝事業亦已受此案影響，其中曹格已暫停所有工作，包括取消原定在電視台的造勢音樂會，而已預售門票的十一月香港個人演唱會亦已臨時取消，門票要退款處理。其公司要求曹格「冷靜思過」三星期，希望他盡快平復心情；據知其「雪藏」期快將屆滿，曹格已定於下周六復工，飛往內地昆明工作。

側田的工作安排影響則較輕微，日前曾參與林敏驄演唱會及新城電台騷，亦忙於為新碟錄音。

聽一個幫香港藝人做頭髮嘅朋友講，好多頭髮少嘅男藝人都鐘意用一種"審"落頭髮嘅黑色纖維來掩飾。所以估計惻田除帽都唔會有乜野睇。唯一問題係如果天氣太熱嘅話，D汗流落來，惻田會變咗黑田O者。
