one pot of boiling water
throw everything in
wait till they are cooked.......done!

Aiya, I am not good at cooking compare to some LYKs here! btw, I actually want to take a class here. Anyone want to join?
http://www.dirtyapron.com/

but you can start a "lazy" cooking class.  I bet it will be very popular.

"lazy" but "tasty"...   yummy...

all the prepare and cooking work is harder than changing all my vehicle's oil.  I guess I'm not into cooking at all.  Maybe I should book our common room and invite LYK over for a cooking potluck gathering.

Dirty Apron has very attractive classes! But they are on the expansive side. They are open by owner(s) of Chambar/Cafe Medina.

I really want to learn french cooking! Saves me lots of money then going to Le Crocodile all the time! But then again, I am into Lazy meals, so maybe I'd still go out for French crusine.

french is a lot of work!
I am more interested to learn Italian.

Talking about meal in a flash, when I cook supper, first I start with rice,
then slice, marinate, stir-frying or steaming. Quick soup etc. usually done
before the rice cooker stop. That is 1 stir-fry dish, 1 steam dish and a
quick vegetable & meat soup. For soup with bone, I cook them twice a week,
save 2/3 for reheating and consume 1/3.
So supper usually ready  half and hour when I get home.
Cooking at home is fun and healthy, not to mention $$$$$ saved.

It is not feasible to cook a lot of ethnic food, you have to scout for specialty items and
quite often they ended up spoiled.

You do not need more than 1 freezer to store those things... usually...

Those items are in 500 gm freezer bags, ready to use in 5 minutes.
Takes up about the size of a regular freezer compartment of household refrigerator, 18"Hx22"Wx18"D.

I do have a 48" chest freezer for my 100 Kg Organic All-butter Puff Pastry, 5 freezers in my house, Yes, I'm crazy

freezers are great if you have enough room in your house!
I lived in a very small town when I was a kid. Mom used to buy bd cakes for us from big towns (not available in my small town) and put in freezer. So i already knew what my bd cake will look like 1 yr ahead!
