I was just thinking of this few days ago. Google already can show the street view of Taiwan, why not here?

Was just playing with Street View and much to my surprise, it sucked! Going along a street in my neighbourhood will suddenly take me into the back alleys for a while, and it didn't just happened in the tiny side streets, but also on some of the slightly bigger roads!

It does take you into the back alleys for a while. I have been playing with American cities Street View. It seems they don't have the same problem there.

I just looked up my street.
They must have taken the pictures at least a few months ago, some of the shops have already closed down.

have you notice they actually blur out ppl faces..... some of them...... also license on some cars

I don't know about you but I found it scary in a way......

but yet is also very useful!!!!
like me I have to travel all around Vancouver everyday......
for me getting an address not knowing what the building looks like can suck sometimes!!!!

now with this I can check the address and look at what the building looks like b4 I go!!!!! no mistake

for traveler it will be a good tools too!!!!
not looking what the place look like , now you do!!!

Actually, my friend saw the google car drove by my house 5 month ago, he asked me to come down to see .. but I just missed it ..  just saw the back of it.....

Kind of look like those traffic ticket car.

this is a great break through
  the scene on my street was taken in late spring, from the way the trees look

  awesome demonstration of web technology,

the next level of this game  is  google doctor
anyone who has cold , flu like symptoms can get a medical evaluation on the web
google can monitor your health every 3 hours  and send in google doctors and google ambulance if neccessary
google can tell the world how many people have flu in any city

You can

1. just keep on clicking the same spot, it will eventually zoom in to street view or
2. drag the yellow little guy from the zoom tool bar on the left to where-ever you want to see the street view.

in the webpage below
drag the orange human figure onto the map, and  street view areas will be colored blue

it shows japan is the favored country
if you move the map to australia, google street view has not arrived there

google has yet to touch russia, india, that is odd,
consider the fact that Russia is very advanced in software piracy,  in fact  on my laptop there is a copy of
windows 7 from a Russian website
and i understand Telus phones its customers from India
