Does anyone know how much does it cost to rent a penthouse suite in fancy hotels like Pan Pacific or Fairmont Waterfront or similar?
My boss is thinking about having an early mini Christmas party there. It will be one day/one night only. I've looked at their websites and size is about 1000 or 1300 sqft which is perfect for a small group. But it's required to call the sales agent to get a rate. I just want to know the approximate rate to get an idea first.
Or if you've helped your boss to organize Xmas parties before. Where and how much and what was included? I've never done this so I have no idea how or where to start.

You could try the Metropolitan Hotel on Howe Street, which is across the street of the Four Seasons. Halle Berry, Jessica Alba, and Kanye West, etc stayed there/or had party there before.
It has a nice Penthouse Suite called Tai Pan Suite 1565 sq. ft. (18th floor) including:
Floor-to-ceiling windows
Oversized wrap-around Italian terrazzo balcony with mountain & city views, featuring cast iron patio furniture including lounge chairs, patio table with umbrella, side tables

If you book the room individually is like $2500 per night, but if you book with catering, you could get a better deal. I could refer you to the Catering Sales Manager and Reservations Manager, and ask for a better deal. They should have set Menus for different packages.

I'm not sure exactly gar... If you are interested lemme know, I could give the Reservation Manager a heads up, maybe could get a better rate. Cuz that rate was like last year's, not sure what's the rate is
Also, if you book catering w/ the room to host a party. You also request a special rate for discount rooms just in case for some ppl who got drunk after the party And also depends on how many of you are parking at the hotel, you may could negotiate for a group special rate.
