any bad news about ... after took swine flu shot?? beside that lady walk backward..

感染swine flu 机会律高定係出現flu shot 副作用机会律高？
染病死亡律高定係打完Flu shot后出现副作用引至死亡律高？
其实所有疫苗、药物都有副作用引至死亡风險，咁係咪BB其实都唔应该接受任何防疫注射？有病睇医生但唔好食药？
有人对流感針出現不良反应亦受个人健康情况影响，例如对鸡旦有敏感，因病或其它药物影响至自身免疫功能減退等。
实則每年都有一些過案係有人接受預防普通感冒疫苗后出现不良反应，但很少会被刻意報导，只因今次甲流蔓延得很快、很广兼有旅多人死亡，至会引至所有有关甲流的新闻被广氾報导。

有些人之前试過接种普通流感疫描后，之后出现狀似流感病惩，以为打完流感針令到人冇病都变成有病，从此唔再接受疫苗注射，其实係对人体免疫功能認识不足，要知流感病毒都有很多种，一个人並非感染過一次感冒或注射咗疫苗后就唔会再有感冒，流感疫苗其实都係由一些流感病毒改良製造出耒，只是这些病毒被处理過，进入人身体後不会对身体作出破坏，反被人体免疫係统吸收成为抗体，使免疫係统日后可以识別同抵抗真正的流感病毒。当一个新疫苗第一次进入人身体后，身体免疫係统就会作出防護把它当作病毒一样，出现头疼、发燒、发冷等懲狀都係身体免疫机能的自然反应，当身体接触这个病毒后，身体內已將这个病毒样版传低，到第二年再接受同样病毒疫苗注射時，那些不适反应如头疼、发燒、发冷等懲狀，亦未必会出现。

so.. anyone will take swine flu shot? I heard alot of people line up for it yesterday at community center..

but how come my doctor said that it's just only for those women having a baby... but I saw guys line up on news

i was at my family doctor today and i overheard what the receptionist said about swine flu shots... she said because each week they only get 40 dosages, it goes to people with higher priority, e.g. those with chronic disease, or pregnant women.

also heard that people 65 or older will be receiving regular flu shots, and people under 65 will be eligible for swine flu shots.

VANCOUVER - In what is likely to be the largest mass vaccination in B.C. history, clinics will start giving H1N1 flu shots today, beginning with at-risk groups.

The H1N1 flu shots are available starting today for people under 65 years old who have chronic health issues, pregnant women and people who live in remote or isolated communities, including first nations.

On Nov. 2, shots will be expanded to children aged six months to five years, health care workers, and people who are in contact — at home or through home-care services — with infants or people who have compromised immune systems.

In mid-November, H1N1 flu shots will be available to everyone else. The flu shots are free.

The at-risk groups who can begin getting shots Monday can get their seasonal flu shots at the same time, one shot in each arm. A list of clinics providing the flu shot is available at www.health.gov.bc.ca/flu.

it's not the needle, it's the soreness afterwards. It's like my arm was punched by a hammer.

had a fever overnight ... I guess my immune is quite reactive to it.

But don't worry about it, it is good to protect yourself and your family.

深深體會中國人說的﹕小病是福。以前都唔覺架﹐但係當人長大了﹐覺得生活的節奏好快﹐日日返工放工﹐放假又好多野逼埋要做。。。若不是傷風感冒一下﹐都幾難悠閑地在家休息。。。而家H1N1都唔係壞事﹐若真的拍針後有發燒﹐正好名正言順放下一切睡大覺囉﹐呵呵呵。。。

if your family members hav taken the shot, then you have a slightly lower chance to get the flu because you are not likely to get the flu from your family members.

From what I know, I have couple friends took the H1N1 shot already. They are mid 30s and not in high risk group.

I don't know why they can get it but seems they took it from their family doctors.

If you get instruction from your doctor, then it's a different story.

I know that caretakers of ppl whom are high risk should take the shot early too.

Just saying that if you are neither high risk nor giving care to the high risk group, then we should try to wait a bit.

唔好当係普通流感，因此流感病情可以发展很快，病毒可以在几小時攻擊病人心肺，令其快速失去机能以至數天內死亡！

If it's onli effective for 3 months then do u think I should just try and stay healthy in the next 3 months instead? lol~
Cuz I wash my hands with soap like 10000000x a day in the daycare alreadi..
I take Echinacea and Vitamins supplements everyday~
I m TRYING to get enuff sleep but not successful all the time~ lol~

I was listening to the Kid Carson show in the morning and they had a naturalpath doctor on the show that day~
The doctor said a lot of ppl r deciding not to take the H1N1 flu shot and they were asking for alternatives~
She said that u can go in a take vitamin injections every week or get ur supplements everyday~
Stay stressfree and cheerful becuz getting mad for 5 mins and cause ur immune system to go down for 8 hours!!

How about combined regular flu shoot and swine flu shot...

i just had my flu shot and H1N1 shot a few days ago. I agree with some of you there that the H1N1 shot made my arm swollen, hurt and sore for at least a few days, but i didn't have fever after both shots. The most painful one i ever had. Hopefully, that would prevent me from getting flu and H1N1. My doctor asked me to get both shots instead of just H1N1 when i was at the clinic. The reason is i have asthma. If i have flu or cold, my asthma will make me cough like crazy.....

Anyway, hope we will be all be healthy... stay away from flu and H1N1.. LOL
