1. a booth. a huge spinning wheel. 5 to 10 young people in red T shirt. which says: Scotia Bank. and lots of LCD monitors.

2. you walk by. one of the kids. will give you. a draw ticket. with a pin number.

3. you take that. the kid tells you. to punch the pin. onto the screen. for a draw.

4. the software asks you. your personal information. in chronological order. as far as i remember (for the draw. right)

first name. last name. gender. street address. phone number. occupation. income range. and email address (optional) < finally it gives you an option. to calm you down. and a few more questions relating to visa card.

6. by the time you are done. a more mature salesperson. approaches you. and greets you. by your last name. holding a clipboard with potentially all your info (which you have just punched in like a minute ago) (excellent timing i should say)

7. so he/she knows your name and everything else you have punched into their screen. and you. will have to buy. their visa card.

8. forgot to mention: the software can actually confirm your postal code and the credibility of your address. reminds me of the RCMP database. (my first time seeing someone with that kind of technology dealing with strangers in public. in a sales pitch)

9. it did say on the screen near the end: your information will not be kept by the Scotia Bank. and i think i am supposed to believe what it says (but the kid told me it is just a draw)

richmond center. thru the east entrance by tim hortons. go straight. you will see a booth like that. (SO I AM STUPID. RIGHT)

i heard of this too... Once you finish typing in the info, you automatically sign up for their Visa card or something...

what really makes me sick: is the salesperson who approaches me with all my info (they basically sit at the center of the booth and watch from their side as i am typing my info into the screen) and they believe now that i have no privacy. i am practically naked. and i will say yes to everything they ask me to do. or join. (at least i assume this is how they think within this whole sales pitch in order to close a sale effectively with a complete stranger) otherwise they could have just asked me if i need a visa card in the first place. and i am gonna say no and walk away with no second thought. (their sales scheme is sophisticated)

whether that involves any kind of guilt trip or trap. by offering something for free (like a prostitute on E hasting offering you some company. very close to love but will cost you money. and or disease) and then sorta accusing you for taking that free gift without giving anything back. and give you a way out. by joining the credit card. it is truly my own interpretation (even a prostitute will tell you the price and want you to pay upfront). plus i take free stuff from the dumpster everyday. its way much easier than from a bank.

and to answer 蛋撻 (in my case) at the very end. they are going to need some verbal confirmation. to activate anything for real. i said no. many times. and eventually i did get a gift from the draw. a pack of candy. and i walked away from the crime scene without getting further emotional damages. and safely navigate myself onto LYK again.

(playingtoy is a 水魚 who has never been to the mall)

what am i gonna do about this. nothing. absolutely nothing. i mean its the Scotia Bank. what am i gonna sue the bank for playing mind games with me ? No

i got my first junk mail today. after 5 years of peace. in terms of my mail box.

TB VETS Charitable Foundation

i dont like uninvited junk mail. so. if they do keep coming. and keep polluting my mail box. eventually i might have to write on their envelop: THIS GUY IS DEAD. and take them all back to the post office. see if things are gonna change.

and if you happen to associate with any TB i do not mean to offend you. just that. the way they got my name into their mailing list. is not right. plus. i am the homeless guy and i am a charity myself. and you ask me to donate you my money. what a joke.

Don't go to any BOOTH and 貪心啲獎品 you will not feel cheated la....
