where do you guys like to go for 雞蛋仔 in Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond? but not many places have 雞蛋仔....

Vancouver:
Kat's Tea Hut on 49th and Victoria Dr

Burnaby:
The bubble tea place located next to TNT inside Metrotown

Richmond:
Parker Place food court
Aberdeen Centre food court
Yaohan food court?
牛仔餐廳?
Night market

I especially dislike the ones in Parker Place (not enough 蛋漿, and tax extra???) and Yaohan (tasted like eatting cake)

I think 牛仔 was pretty good
and 金鐘廊 should be good too, just that I haven't had any from them for ages

the one in yaohan is kinda close to the sushi entry area of osaka supermarket, i think.... if that place is still around

i've only tried parker place and aberdeen centre. i agree parker place one is kinda empty inside (not enough 蛋漿 like you said) but i still like it better than the one insider aberdeen centre food court. last two times i had it at aberdeen centre food court, they were kinda tasteless, but definitely more 蛋漿.

the one inside parker is $3.25 and the one inside aberdeen is $3

the last time i tried the yaohan one was at least 5 years ago... too long ago to remember

cuz 雞蛋仔 is just too expensive in Canada, so it's kinda rare for me to buy some.....

I found more 蛋漿 made it solid, not always a good thing, that's why I like parker's one better.

Food court...is easy to found. I think they closed on Mon and Tue

i went to 金鐘廊 over the weekend the check out that place but it's currently closed for interior renovation till early/mid dec 2009. $3 each

i finally tried that place inside metrotown, next to tnt supermarket. i think it's called dessert essence. $3.33+tax = $3.5 each

not bad. crispy on the outside. overall has enough 蛋漿 inside. but toooooooo expensive

Huh the one is metrotown is pretty bad, too much oil and too sweet. I get an upset stomach if I ate the entire thing myself.

The one at Aberdeen is only so so, skin not crispy enough. Taste is OK and not too much oil.

Makes me wonder if people know what good ones taste like...

The one in metro is called Dessert Dynasty. Their food is quite inconsistant probablly due to staff undertained and huge turn over all the time! Most of the time they are so busy that they don't even flip the egg tray until it's cooked! The result is one side of the egg is spoungy and the other is crispy. Not evenly cooked lor.
