I don't live in Richmond. Just go there once awhile for badminton and dinner jar.
I've always want to find a dessert place (NON-Chinese) in Richmond to recharge . Can anyone recommand?

as far as I can recall.. there is none...
amm... actually house made ice-cream at Chop wasn't bad.

talking about homemade icecream, we tried the sweetpea flavor in Lumier. It was the BEST icecream EVER that I've tried!!!

Back to the topic. I wish Richmond has dessert places such as Sweet Revenge, Cheesecake etc....

我自己，我愛人，我地另外D朋友覺得超難食。
去嗰度的話，我返BERRY GOOD好過

太甜，冇香味，太漏，雪得太凍，用匙都好難BUT嚟食。
咩甜酸苦辣。。。冇味（我試過我個FRIEND叫的）。不過諗起咁嘅COMBINATION做甜品。。。我唔會叫囉～ 你估玩結婚開門GAME咩！

When was your last time there?

My friend is coming from Calgary and he wants to have a try since he saw the good comments on Facebook. If it is that bad, I  hope it has improved by now.

If you want to try, I suggest not to try the 冰川 one, but just the normal ones.  I find their normal cheesecake ok, but those 冰川 ones...really hard to eat, you need to use a lot of force to break it up with your spoon.  Their green tea parfait is pretty good.

Thanks for the info. never even heard of them! Could those of you that gave recommandations give / find the exact address so I can put in my GPS when I drive there please?? Thanks! Or even which major landmarks they are located in would be appreciated!

我去過yavis 兩次, 首先我覺得個owner都幾有heart架, 似擺左唔少心思, 我比較鐘意D drinks, 比較特別D, 總比下下BBT得黎０甘悶啦，　我見我個ｆｒｉｅｎｄ個西米ｐｕｄｄｉｎｇ好掂阿，我食ｂａｋｅｄ　ｃｈｅｅｓｅｃａｋｅ，　唔太甜，好ｌｉｇｈｔ既ｃｈｅｅｓｅｃａｋｅ，但我覺得同我自己ｈｏｍｅｍａｄｅ差唔多阿，不過隻牒劃晒花０甘又幾得意既，　如果你鐘意ｔｒｕｅ　ｃｏｎｆｅｃｔｉｏｎ果類就唔會鐘意食囉

yes everyone likes their cheesecake diff ways.
I hate sweet revenge and cheesecake etc. I am ok with True Confections and I love those from Sweet Obsessions.

Sweet Revenge is over priced for its limited choices, I hate their service attitude.
Understood it is a very small place with 16 seats, but they rush the customers out
before they are finished. Their price is comparable to high end restaurants but
service sucks.
True Confections is too rough, they give you a huge portion short of fine flavour,
not much better than Safeway bakery.

I haven't been there for a while. The last time I was there was already last year (2008).
I don't think it was that bad. Well, I guess different people have different preference on the taste.

However, its cheesecakes were very very so so when it was first opened.

Actually, the only place I liked a lot so far is Le Crocodile's Tiramisu and souffle. :9

I think for cheesecake, Cheesecak etc >>> Yavis >>> True Confections. And I remember there is one around 16th & Macdonald, but I don't remember the name, and some of their cakes are pretty good too.

It's on main and king edward. You have to pay close attention to really see this small place! The store is black colored.

新東記樓上開左間糖廚(Dessert Kitchen), 係以前間Sweet 23但搬左過隔離鋪，而家好似有賣埋小食同西式甜品。o個日試左個crispy chocolate volcano (即chocolate lava cake之類）同B仔涼粉。涼粉­唔得因為D生果唔靚....但個crispy chocolate volcano就好好味~~~終於可以唔使特登落DOWNTOWN食^^

There is also Trees Organic, I didn't know they have a location in Richmond. I have only been to the downtown location. If you like the traditional New York creamry rich kind of cheesecake, you should go give it a try.

Tree Organic still runs  their original stall at the Bridhouse Library,
they move a lot of coffee but the desserts do not look appetizing at all.
You can tell they don't sell well because the edges are all dried out.
They acquired the Downtown location because the previous owner
gone bankrupted and walk out of lease.
