It is very strange, some people swear by it and use it everyday,
other wold not want to bother.

After watching the "BULLET EXPRESS" on TV everyday ... (and Bullet magic before)
I finally got it from my wife as Christmas GIFT!
I am so happy, so now I can make juice/food as those OLD FARTS we see on TV ...
(somehow, my mom broke our food processor/juicer, so we are down to 1 blender)作者: myversa 時間: 2010-1-8 13:35

we have jack lalanne's power juicer.
the first year we bought it we were using it almost everyday.........

i think it's still in the cupboard...(hopefully)作者: tofu 時間: 2010-1-8 16:20

I bought a high-end Wheatgrass juicer on E Bay, used it once and re-sold it.
Takes forever to clean.
Now I use high power blender, much easier to work with and clean.作者: myversa 時間: 2010-1-11 11:24

because you are not in charge of cleaning it? 作者: myversa 時間: 2010-1-12 11:02
finally I decided to buy the juicer from Costco;
We tried it twice and it works great;
We cleaned it right the away and it only takes no more than 10 minutes to clean;
It has container to store all the leftover and we can put a small garbage bag in it; this makes it easier to clean.作者: fibbi 時間: 2010-1-12 11:49
Actually...juicer....u mean those citric juicer (like for orange, grapefruit) or blender type, or juice extractor (for apple, carrot??) I think all those are different...
I had a juice extractor because my parents like to have carrot+apple juice once a while (once a week or once every 2 weeks).
And that....the cleaning part kills...the carrot colour just STICKS so hard on the white plastic part. And each "use" of the machine probably takes half an hour to clean (because the colour is hard to clean). So eventually, give up of using it... I guess if I just want apple juice it's not as bad. But still....peeling skin, cutting up apple, then extract, then clean the machine... the whole process still takes at least half an hour... too much work for 1 cup of apple juice.. and I can't make a lot too....apple juice shouldn't stay long....
