You do not have to go to restaurant for boiled lobster,
any average home stove would do the job easily,
what you need is a big pot of water for boiling,
then some hot butter for dipping, and a wedge of
lemon for squeezing over lobster; dinner done in under
15 minutes, save the gas for other trip.

我個LOBSTER BISQUE只係和暖。。。。感覺D白酒未EVAPORATE哂。

我嘅LOBSTER／SHRIMP STUFFED CHINNOOK SALMON。。。OK啦。"孩"左少少。D HARICOTS豆同飯做配菜，普普通通

CREME BRULEE。。。普通啦

老實講，比上年同另外D 朋友去食同一D野差左。

well. i never think that Boathouse is good.
and I suspect that they use frozen lobster. or they just prepare very early and then reheat it.

the menu looks a bit similar to the crab fest menu... but i didnt know they have a shrimp fest heh.

planning to go tmr nite... richmond location again... i remember their creme brulee from crab fest last time wasn't so great (compared to the keg's! heh)... service there isnt that great too :S

funny how richmond boat house fails big time... i complained to them once about sth and they send me another gift cert to try them again... i went to "test" them and see if they improved and they fail in the same aspect AGAIN... afterwards the GM of the place calls me and told me what they'd do to improve and told me they'd send me a new gift cert (she said it'd be brought to where i work the next time i work which was in 2 days but it didnt come til almost 2 weeks after)... but i dont feel like "testing" them again. not worth my energy

For the real deal with read food, you guys should try the Surf&Turf Fest at Hart House, it's a far cry from Boat House and it really isn't that much more expensive (though no coupons available) http://www.harthouserestaurant.c ... HR_SurfTurfMenu.pdf

We go to Hart House quite often. My husband and i tried the surf&turf Fest (which basically, steak & lobster) last week and it tasted great as usual.
I work close to Hart House, so everytime our company has any function, we would pick Hart House because of their quality (and also close to us).

We were going to try boathouse, but after seeing all the comments here, we might hold off now.

went there tonight... food is just so-so, and as always they messed up my bill (every single time when i use my gift cert they always forgot to take the $25 off... EVERY TIME)
