ooo.. didn't read carefully.. dyslexic is different tho

Greek or any western restaurant is good. coz the entree is meant for a single diner anyway. chinese dishes on the other hand are for sharing

I usually would go to those noodle place if I would eat by myself.

Another good place to eat was the Taiwanese restaurant by the London Drugs near Joyce.

well, I did need to eat by myself everyday even before I was married.

Even if I run out of choices, I can try the same restaurant over and over again.

Tawianese noodle place sounds good. thank you! It's better than Ramen because I can never get full with Ramen, unless I add extra noodles.

Water fountain? If you provide good service, I may consider that as an open cafe.

Vietnamese noodle restaurant should be good for single diner too because the food comes out quickly and it is big portion.

Boathouse is a fine dine restaurant....for single diner?

I constantly eat Viet noodle, Ramen and food court lately, but I have too much msg in my body la. That's why i need some other suggestion. Taw noodle sounds good.

lam chu kee is a good place because I only ordered soup noodle at the busy hours, and they did not rush me to leave.

for myself, beside dimsum & fine dining, i am ok to eat in any restaurant by myself.
why don't you tell us which types of restaurant you will feel comfortable

Yes. Same for me.

I think most restaurants that have bar tables welcomes single diners.

go on commercial drive, usually the restaurants are not busy on weekday
portugese food, big & quite empty on weekday
thai food, self-serve restaurant
tapas, sit at the bar & enjoy tv

korean restaurants at crystal mall

greek restaurants around broundary & hastings, except the famous big portion one, the rest are quite empty during weekday

椰林餐廳吖,都OK架! 響芝穎豪園個mall度, 皇后牛肉粉對面. 佢有1人同2人o既餐, 佢地個海南雞飯同埋星加坡喇沙都幾好食架!

costco's hot dog and ikea's restaurant/hotdog are good place for single dinner too.
