台灣講屌 [編輯]

屌字嘅普通話發音係 diao3 [2]。喺台灣，屌字又同台灣閩南話嘅「對」字同音，於是有啲人就將「屌」字用嚟做「對」字嘅對應[未記出處或冇根據]。最初喺傳媒上出現咁用法，係喺台灣MTV channel一段宣傳：「MTV音樂台，好屌！」，呢句嘢由有「廣告教父」之稱嘅孫大偉創作出嚟，原本意思係：「音樂是有量的」，形容音樂可以令人有快感。呢個廣告出咗之後，「屌」就成為台灣人流行用語，好多人鍾意用「好屌！」去形容一啲好正，好有感受嘅嘢[3]。

Yes I do. 台灣閩南話嘅「對」pronouns d-e-o 3. Sorry I do not know pinyin so cannot give you more accurate pronounce. Both are similar but not 同音.

I thought this word has a "universal" meaning??? It means "fxxx" in cantonese ... It means something else in Taiwan???

In Taiwan, when you said someone is 屌, that means he/she is cxcky and self center way. It does not mean f words.

The word 屌 does not have a good meaning in Chinese or Mandarin if you look up the dictionary.

However, the young people picked the word up and created a new meaning to it.
It represents the coolness (eg. 好屌), cockiness (e.g 在屌什麼?), and uniqueness (e.g. 太屌了)

in tw if you say 好屌, it can also mean 好利害

and yes, the sound of 屌 in taiwanese is different from 屌 in hk

Yes, it's true so I never know this is the same word as in f words in Hong Kong.

ha..i remember back like 10 years ago 陳小春 had a mandarin song with 包小松/包小柏...the song name was 丟
sounded like he was swearing the entire song..hahaha
