Hi there,

Would someone please help me find a place where I can recycle my propane cylinders (used for portable bbqs)? I check with both city of Van and Bby and was told they don't take it. CanTire doesn't take them back as well. I can't dispose them in my household garbage as residue propane gas could cause maj damage.

How do you good folks recycle these cylinders?

Thanks so much for your help in advance.

G.

Petro-Can would trade your old one with a new filled one
for Approx. $22, so it means you pay about $10 for a new
tank, very good deal. I did it last month so I know.

I brought mine to the landfill in Delta last summer.  Seems like only landfill would take them back.  Some Gas stations only recycle  propane tank.

Thank you for your replies. Petro-Can does not take these cylinders. They only take the tanks.

Anyone else have solutions?
