List of restaurants doesn't look super interesting. But since it's in the convention centre this time, I may go (ride Canada line after drinking!)

I always want to go to Cornucopia in Whistler... but it's getting more and more expensive each year... So I've never been to it ...

You should still go since it's not far away.  Remember the one I went was in Abborsford and there were not many restaurants there.  I still remembered they had power outage so the whole center was in dark and no one can cook anything.

If you have time and never have been one, you can still attend.  For me, I will go if I have time.

ok, maybe I'll go then!
Kind of want to see Feenie there.

Never been there. How does it work?

So, once you get it, you pay ~$2.5 for each appetizer-sized food. So kinda of like a night market but with restaurant food?

what else is there? :O

When I was there last time (in Abborsford), you have to buy tickets and each food items cost like some number of tickets.  The portion is very small.

You can also join workshop; you will see someone selling some type of food items such as soy drink, nuts, sauces and some kitchen items and appliance.

not really
a restaurant owner can order unlimited number of passes
so if you know someone in the business
you can get one from that person

I'll be doing 2 days demonstration on Fruit & Vegetables
sculpture, I'll get some free tickets too.

They are hosted by different organization,
the Eats Vancouver is more to attract consumers,
the CRFA is a restaurant tradeshow catered to the restaurant owners,
to sell the equipments and supplies.
The Canadian Produce Marketing Association is there to promote
healthy eating, i.e. 5-8 servings of fruits & vegetables a day.
