Where do you buy your household items such as toilet paper, conditioner/washer, laundry stuff, ...?

Actually...I found superstore has better price in many cases...compare w/ Costco...
Wallmart also has good price too...

I always like to buy fr USA when on/without sales. Always seems to be cheaper...(the brands that I use anyway). But of course don't always have time to go la. So my friends that go already know what I like and will buy them automatically when see a good price.

Other places that I buy from when emergency needs will probably be zellers, superstore, dollarstore...

for some strange reason... I don't usually shop at superstore. I usually stock up at costco when there is a sale for the items... Then misc stuffs, I get them on sale at LD or Shoppers. Walmart is mostly their US location for thing like aluminum foil and wraps.

Never SAFEWAY!

It's kind of funny that Safeway's prices are actually quite cheap in the US, compared to other smaller grocers anyway. But nowadays I just buy most of my items at the corner store, even though the prices are 30% higher.

My friend in the US says so as well. They would shop in Safeway. But you know la..in Van...Safeway is soooooooooooo expensive...even though half price, can still more expensive than other places!

yeah, in some cases, superstore has same price or lower price than costco, but you don't need to buy big amounts or pay for membership.

The cashiers at Superstore sucks, they have no clue about the product
and price, well, cheap labour and poorly trained.

The meat is inexpensive, but mediocre quality,
especially their ground beef, recalled for contamination many
times by CFIA.
Even their AAA steak, are not aged long enough so you are paying
for water contents other than edible meat.

Depends, Air-Chilled chicken are good value for dollar.
Forget the organic, they are over-rated and over-priced.

London Drugs is good too if you can spot their "buy it now" tags. Those are clearance and they are good bargain. Got a Hamilton Beach all metal/glass blender for $30, comes with 2 years warranty!

咩household items先?

我覺得講detergent/ cleaning product我覺得最就手同平都係london drugs/ shoppers。本人覺得shoppers有時減價真係平到無朋友。同埋呢D household items成日要買﹐我唔係成日去superstore/ costco (我無costco card)﹐所以唔多方便。

如過你講小型電器(vacuum/food processor/ coffee machine)之類﹐我會覺得london drugs同canadian tire都幾平﹐同幾多選擇。

其實我自己幾鐘意行dollar store/ $2 store﹐平得嚟有D嘢平日唔會諗到要買。有D淋花嘅sprayer﹐drawer liner﹐garbage bags﹐抹車布﹐painting tape﹐且如之類真係平一般家品店一半或以上﹗

PS* 漏左講﹐cookware/ plates & dishes﹐我會去home sense。雖然唔係成日都有貨﹐但係價錢真係好唔錯﹗平日最多用嘅stainless steel sauce pan都係$25-35﹐而且都算幾多選摘。最好係可以分開買﹐唔洗一set買﹗好多時你用得最多果個pan要玩你無理由要成套買。

I still think most of the time, superstore has the best price.
London Drugs...depends...really need to find out their lowest price...even they are on sale, the price may not be the lowest.

For small appliances...I just go to Costco in US.

今日去開美國買車呔,順便買埋grocery...
去o左間WinCo,只收現金同debit card
$6.33  60隻雞蛋
$2.98  三個sub
$1.99 1 Gal 奶
$1.79 一條全麥面包

如果唔介意牌子o既話,洗頭水洗碗液洗衣粉漂白水牙膏o既話,我發覺美國dollar tree 係最平 (仲係made in usa) $1 有971ml 洗頭水同埋普通size o既高露潔...
我屋企太少人唔係好o岩去costco...而且richmond 果間實在太多人,唔係好想去迫
SUPERSTORE 我親眼見到d 員工加色素落去d 水果...好恐怖,唔係好敢o係佢度買水果,不過有時佢d 12 罐可樂會$2.99, 超平...買乾貨o既話ok,同walmart 差唔多
其實save on foods d o野幾新鮮而且唔貴,richmond 果間幾好行,又有車位
safeway,我cousin o係入面做藥劑師都唔會o係度買o野,佢話超貴
T&T 如果無o野做佢又未收o既話會行o下,多數都係10點幾先會去,實有位泊車,不過價錢都係偏貴,曾經o係家家超市買過日本鼓油$2.77,但係T&T 要$3.44
其實shoppers drug mart 唔減價o既話都係偏貴,我只會買佢o既減價o野, e.g. $0.97 一盒紙巾,好o既係no.5 果間24小時,no 3 果間收12點
london drugs on flyer 果d o野會好平, e.g.  $0.99 一罐午餐肉,我個人鐘意行no 5 果間,感覺整齊d...有時仲有少量A&F o野買...好神奇
我老豆鐘意去public market 買水果蔬菜..我就好怕街市果種濕淋淋...
IGA o係我walking distance,所以,有時想散o下步都會散o左過去..IGA 有試食,同埋多D organic food 選擇,價錢略貴,但係d o野o既質素高d,所以都係我鐘意去o既地方之一...

我每期flyer 都望架，所以其實都唔係話superstore 或者 costco 最平， depends on 你買0羊窩
costco 我會買清潔用品多，因為擺得阿，加埋特價其實真係抵
shoppers 既紙巾平阿，我買親都係49至69 cents, pasta sauce都係平架 $2罐，平過save on減價過陣
save on 買肉都唔錯，新鮮同唔太貴啦
superstore 我好少去，但toilet paper 減價時係最平，after x'mas 有好多家庭用品都好抵。。但我好少買野食

唐人乾糧類就一定中國世界啦。。買calbee 都平D啦
野食我都係去大阪，super2000 同 aberdeen菜市場多
煮西餐我就去granville island 架啦，蔬果都響果度買多
Whole foods 同Choices 都會經常去，但會買減價野多啦。。其實減價左好多野都唔係好貴，而且我有D 食開用開既一定要果度買

Also, the store selling 餃子 near the Aberdeen grocery is not there anymore.
