the jazz did it w/o boozer and okur too. only downside was d william's 8 turnovers. lakers' loss can be attributed to back-to-back games

denver was in a slump, especially the rout by lakers the night before. the nuggets put the bad game behind them and won. it was also payback for its previous loss to the clippers. something needs to be done about their inconsistent shooting tho. j.r. smith's 3s can really pour down in a flurry.

knicks won after the ridiculous lop-sided loss to the celtics, then crawford apologized to the fans after the game about the bad display. there's seriously a lot going on in new york. isaiah's day of resignation... when will that be?

it's the matter of severity. hmm, still dunno the mri results
since the spurs have had most of its scoring from parker and ginobili as of late, duncan's absence will not have a big impact, unless they start losing.

hm, this season i see a lot of triple doubles coming...

turnover #s for these point guards have been low the last couple games, darn!

maybe in previous years... but shaq is getting less touches now... (less hack-a-shaq)....
look at this stats now... 17 games into the season... TOs higher than missed FTs... haha
not saying that the season will end that way... but if it does... then it really is something...

the Heat are simply terrible... they remind me of the Marlins of the MLB... build for one season to go all the way and then they're done...

they also remind me of the NY Rangers (NHL) of the past... all the talent... but poor outcomes...

the heat had things going then. they kept the same roster last season and it wasn't the same anymore.
i didn't see the foul. i'll try to get a good look later on.

dirk doesn't shine like previous seasons. and defensively the mavs aren't doing a good job. avery johnson has some tweaking to do to get back to the winning ways

really like watching Warriors basketball now...
they're even running faster than the Suns... that last game between the Suns and the Warriors was so awesome...

it'll be fun tonight watching the Warriors destroy the Heat...

warriors' style is pure offensive attack. they allowed too many points to the heat early on. davis's health is always quesitonable as season goes on

i'm watching the turnover numbers every night, haha. boozer w/ 9. soooooo close

as for shaq, i really think he should retire...no point staying with heat to 'hin sai'
they cant win another ring anyway

but for some reason, shaq still draws double teams, which is why he's still being played...when in fact, a much older, much more handsome looking and much more physically fit mourning does a better job at C position.

i don't remember which game it was... but it was the 1st play of the game, it was either the Heat vs. Golden State, or the Portland, or the CLippers...

but i remember clearly... first position of the game... Shaq caught the ball in the paint, right underneath the hoop... with a guard covering him... he did not dunk it to try to draw the foul... all he did was a 45degree shot... WTF...

Shaq is no more... he's just gonna sit there and earn his paycheck...
and then there was this other scene... it was the 4th Q... he was on the bench... cameras were zooming in on him... talking about his stats... and all you see is him grabbing his tit and cracking a joke.... oooooooookay....

anyways, i never liked Shaq... so yes... just retire...

Alonzo Mourning is gone for season, pretty much end of his NBA life.
Clap for the Iron man.
Sad for Heat, with out Mourning they have no more reliable Center in the team, make it a "Tofu Paint D" or "Fat Oil Paint D" whatever you like....either you are meat eater or vegetarian , they both easy to chew.

a loss once in a while is good... otherwise they'll be too over their head... coz underestimating your opp in the playoffs is what kills ya...

Yi is one of the best rookies this year. He will be better than Yao Ming in a few years as Yi has both speed and skills. This means he will be a star. He has a mid range game and post game. He can shoot 3 pts and grab rebounds. How many 7ft players can do all that effectivley? We are looking at a very good all-round player.

Haha.. Marcus Camby got 24 rebound and 11 blocks in the game with UTAH on 17/1. Unluckily that his last 4 attempts are failed and can only got 8 pts. otherwise will get a triple double.

This trade is good for Yao Ming. Shaq is slow and the Suns cannot run as fast now. If Rockets plays the Suns, Yao will destroy Shaq since Yao usually plays well against slower centers.

i think they miss Marion already... no one was able to guard Paul last night...
as quick as Barbosa is himself... he's no defensive wizard...
Raja Bell is a tough defender... but not a fast one...
guards like Parker, Deron Williams, Chris Paul, Iverson, Baron Davis, Devin Harris, (or even Jason Terry to a degree) will blow by Bell... he's just not as defensively "gifted" (long arms, etc) as Marian... aiya...

watching Grant Hill guarding Paul last night was just sad...
so many matchup problems in playoff games... if Bell takes AI, who's going to guard Carmelo... they'll simply get outrun by the Warriors...
who's going to guard Josh Howard...

they made the move because they finally see that they are going nowhere with their fast style

they've played up and down style the last few years and never had much success in the playoffs, because what the playoffs boil down to is really a half court game.

i wonder if shaq will increase nash's already ginormous TO numbers, trying to pass it in to him

i still think the Gasol deal is the best... cost the Lakers the least (duh)...

i dont understand why chicago, already lacking big guys, gave up two big guys for gooden and hughes.
hughes would be such an extra, as they have gordan coming off the bench already.

and cleveland looks good now.
if lebron can stay healthy, i think they have a good chance to get into the finals again

with season winding down, the eastern top teams can start to rest, but all the spots for the west are still undecided. western players will be tired for sure

leave games to play the western conference guys, but can rest the eastern ones. that's my plan. hehe

rockets got some easy opponents along the way. now they got the momentum to pretty much get anything done

we dunno the internal affairs within the heat organization. on the surface, stan resigned in december that season. but i guess the pressure was there from riley.
it's gonna be so funny if the heat gets a low pick in the draft. the scouting just goes wasted!

getting performance like that every night from the suns isn't as frequently possible now. a long road ahead!

the West is so deep and taleneted...
i mean even the 1st seat can lose to the 8th seat... and i'm not talking about just last year...
i mean the Warriors can run the Suns out of the arena...
and i can picture the Warriors doing the same to the Spurs and what not...
no one's giving respect to the Hornets...
Denver can kill ya... if they can play as a team...

the real "safe" team that i can say for sure advance to the next round is the Lakers... coz they got Kobe... other teams, we'll have to wait and see... man i can't wait till the playoffs starts... gonna be awesome...

Rocket's real test will be the coming games of Lakers, Celtics, Hornets, Warriors, Suns, Kings, T-Wolves and finally Spurs to round out March... now that's a tough schedule...

yeah, very exciting indeed. with teams holding similar records, the ranking actually doesn't make much of a difference. it does provide the home court advantage. wonder how that'll fare
i can't say i have good knowledge of all the teams, so i'll just watch and see which team stands out to me more in the last bit of this season

definitely it's a tough road ahead for the rockets. i think they can still pull out half of those games

heh, that's why i don't like some of the politics off the court. i'll still treat stan's case as mutual departure
i'll strictly keep my future thoughts on the on-court stuff if that's okay with u =)

his playing style just doesn't fit what the Mavs run - half court set...
