They lose the lawsuit against Parker place - The last renter did something to stuck the A/C in that store before they take over, and the mall refuse to fix it. Instead they sue "the one" and ask them to fix the A/C. The case went to the court and THE ONE loses

Yeah I remember in the summertime they had a sign up saying how Parker Place wouldn't help them fix the A/C... why da heck will Parker Place not fix something like this?

I saw the new sign too. It's at the old "Queen's" location on No. 3 across from CanadaLine station.

Hey update:

I went there this morning - turns out they are already opened!
I looked at their breakfast menu - very similar to what they had @ Parker place and price is the same too! Except in the restaurant they need to charge you HST -_-. I "think" they are running 10% for now since they are new? Or maybe the boss just remembered me from the Parker Place days hohoho...

I got my usual "Satay Beef noodles" and it was as good as before

I'll probably to try their lunch some time later...

yeah i checked...they open 7:30...which is good cause sometimes i have 8am meetings in the mornings...

but the location is kinda weird for people who drives...not too much parking in the back.

I called. They close at 11:30 pm (or today they are closing at 11:30pm? I don't know).
So this may be a good place to try for food court price after badminton meals.

haha...is not that bad a mar. My hubby and I finally had a chance to go have lunch there...we order "shrimp paste beef noodles" and "Portuguese chicken" and they were both quite good bor...
At least the beef noodles is better than some other cafes i've been to...

well... how does it compare with Celsius Cafe...

I am happy to go anywhere other than Celsius and we go often cos they can take big groups...(i.e. they are usually empty)

oh that I don't know...I have never been to Celsius...the only other places I go are usually California or Hallelujah(?) so all around that area

Celsius Cafe! never been there.
With the price I paid for the steak meal, I got a much better quality of food from Amigo and might cost a buck less. $11.xx for a sirlion steak meal w/ soup and drink @ the one

Don't go there if you haven't been. There is a reason for it to be empty.
Well, I don't really eat steak at HK style cafe.. so as long as things like soup noodle or fried noodle is OK. I try not to be too picky.
From the menu on Chow Times, it looks reasonable.

price for a cafe is reasonable, but quality is just like food court.
