Selling Canon EOS 40D. Just installed brand new EF-D Grid Focusing Screen. Not a spec of dust I can see visible through the viewfinder!!! No visible dust so far on sensor either! There are signs of use, biggest one being a loss of paint below the button to release the pop-up flash. Otherwise, everything works as it should for this camera. Both top and main LCD protected by a protector. Includes everything you'd get in the box when bought brand new (strap is changed to a black one however). Approx 20k shutters. Asking $550 CAD. Just curious, is it worth it for a female beginner and is it heavy to carry around?

easiest answer is to go to future shop or broadxxx camera and try to hold one in your hand. Ask for the 50D (not 500D) cos that's the closest current model.

hard to believe ..  great camera ..  best for your buck .. for ~ $500 ..

Try CL? kijiji? FM? or ebay?

I hv decided to keep the 40D, and sold 50D  ..

did CL. Just scam ppl reply mainly. A few legit request that never replied me after I replied to their initial request.

didn't do FM, need paid membership

dont't want to do eBay, prefer local transactions

I don't spot any one else selling this thing for lower either... so it can't be the price. Don't know what it is.
