Took my nephew and his family to Munch in North Van

It's adult and kids friendly. They have an indoor play area full of toys and books for kids while the adults can dine and wine! You can stay as long as you want and the kids round around, make a mess as expected! Party bookings are available and they always have some kind of interesting events going on such as Father's day world cup action or Stellar and Dot party. The servers will play with the kids and they have nanny service. Kids eat free nights.
The entire menu is organic. The taste was wonderful! I like this place not coz of the kids but the FOOD! Just coz it's kids friendly, doesn't mean the service and food QC suffers. I find the food kind of pricey at first but after tasting and keeping in mind that everything is organic made by award winning chief (http://www.munchrestaurant.com/faq.html) plus, hogging their table the entire afternoon, we think it's totally worth it. I wish they have even more menu selection soon though. Maybe even a good idea to celebrate a birthday there! Anyway, we were impressed! My sister in law left a very good comment. There's a patio outside as well. Enjoy!
*I really won't suggest that you go if you don't like kids.*

Sometimes parents just need an extra place to spend with their kids carefree and without being rushed.
I think though, with or without toys, diner with small kids can still last for hours. At least at places like these, parents don't have to feel uncomfortable that they are hogging the table, making a mess and given glares by customers waiting for tables and servers...especially in Chinese restaurants.
LOL. You are obviously not a parent! No worries for you la.作者: daimo 時間: 2010-6-14 13:19

I'm a parent ... the issue is that children will spend hours playing and leave the food untouched on the plate.
Then you end up chasing them with a plate and a spoon ...
