Went to Supterstore after dinner tonight (Jun 28), and walk out empty handed. There are many "NO TAX" posters inside, but only for Jun 29-30. I tried to find a link or poster on Superstore's homepage but couldn't find it...Anyway, I guess this is the LAST chance to beat the controversial HST!!

Not sure if other superstore's locations will have the same promotion, but at least the one in Richmond do...

i guess they don't charge customers taxes, but they are paying the taxes as part of the costs.
just my random guess...

Superstores have no-tax event every year. But, they run it twice this month. Good!

I remember they charge you the tax but they'll give you a discount that is equivalent to the tax amount ---> so you end up paying the listed price

That's right. They still charge you both GST & PST, but will give you back the "tax portion" as part of their promotion.
