Any chinese that born and raise in hongkong will call themselve as 香港人.

In vancouver if someone asked you if you're chinese... hk ppl will say i come from hk. You'll never want to be in the same category as the mainland people... is such a shame to be call Chinese. Since "Chinese" refers as the 大陸人.

真係好想各地媒體睇吓所謂掘起嘅中國做緊啲咩！
今晚睇新聞，輕描淡寫話有幾百人，睇相都唔止啦！

真係覺得打壓廣東話好好笑，阿國父都係講廣東話，憑咩講話一個國家有兩種語言會容易分裂，廣東話唔止係一個方言咁簡單！

所謂中國掘起，點解仲要倒退?佢哋咁做同秦始皇有咩分別?
身為中國人嘅我，受廣州人所感動，亦覺痛心！原來所謂我國強大，就係咩都大壓，言論大壓都算啦，慣哂，家吓連語言都要打壓，真係無野好講！

撐粵語被指非法廣州警拘一人

【明報專訊】廣州市公安局昨日召開記者會稱，「依法、妥善」處置了「7．25人員聚集事件」，指網上流傳的「撐粵語」消息「純屬造謠，目的是煽動網民非法聚集，造成不良社會影響」，並行政拘留了一名湖北籍的余姓男子。

而廣州市政府昨日下午舉行新聞發布會，市政府辦公廳副主任歐陽永晟用粵語稱，事件是無事生非的「無厘頭」鬧劇，並重申所謂「推普廢粵」是一個徹頭徹尾的偽命題。
