Have tried it a few times, believe it or not, I like that place. The food is decent and not salty and oily, the ingredient is overall healthy.

Usually the meal comes with iced-tea or coffee. The coffee used to suck (like water), but they improved it on the next visit. The iced-tea is good too, I think it is still western style iced-tea without sugar.

I guess pasta is not as attractive as Li Do next door, but this place should worth a try.

It's Japanese style pasta.

Li Do obviously is more popular.. haha....

Taste like home made pasta, which is okay.

A bit pricy for the size though (comparing to Li Do and other cafe style restaurants in Richmond)

I rather they keep it they way they are, which is very good to eat healthy. Less salt, less oil...

finally tried it today with my bf
prices range from $8-10

I had my creamy tomato sauce chicken and mushroom pasta

my bf had his cream sauce smoked salmon and spinach

I overall think the place is not bad
but it tasted a bit funny to have 冬姑 together wth 蘑姑 in my pasta (like why 冬姑???)
it's not like a very big portion, but good enough for me and my bf

we also ordered a durian cake

together with tips we paid $26

Nowadays there are so many "fusion" style restaruants...

As time goes by...

They all become "CONFUSION" style...

Tried it last week...
It's pretty tough for them to operate at that spot with the kind of food they provide. I'm not complaining their food quality, they are healthy but I don't think that many Chinese customers can accept less salt, less oil and, a bit costy...

Their pasta taste more like Japanese style rather than Italian style.

I tried it once, every time I went by Li Do I wanted to give it a try.....but it was a wrong decision. Price wise, it was ok, but you pay what you get....small portion, little ingredient (they slice the veggie really thin, etc.). Service was ok, however, I went with a gf and the waitress took our tea cup to refill some tea, when she returned she mixed up our cup....I didn't notice until I drank it and I smell perfume....but I don't wear perfume! How could that happen!!!
