My girlfriend gave me a plant 2 years ago and I've been putting it next to my workstation without any sunlight, after this weekend I come back to my office and found it very pale and tends to die , can anyone help me how to save it? I don't want it to be died ar

my friend just had a look for me, she said my plant has been grown too big and the pot is too small, so no room for the roots ... guess I need to bring it home to exchange for a bigger pot, thanks for all your inputs

    African violet leaf CANNOT touch water...otherwise it will be brown and die...

it still looks very ill... should I spray water DIRECTLY to the plant? I am so worry

don't over water it... spraying water to african violet leaves is bad.
Do you have a table lamp? May be you can try turning it on the whole day today (if you won't get complain in your office) and see if it's better.

Thanks, I'll try this out.... btw, there are so many soft leaves (almost the whole thing, it's a plant with a lot of small round green leave, I don't know the name, it was crispy & dark green before it went bad) that I don't think I should cut them, I'll try to put it besides a window to see if it would improve.

can't u take a picture from your plant and post it here? 'cuz it's hard to tell .. different plant need different care..

if violet.. need to water 3 times a week, just only water to the soil whenever the soil look dry or feel dry.. don't pour water on the violet's leaves.. it'll turn yellow..

Not enough light and water.
Try place the plant beside a window or bring it home and put it beside a window.
Water twice a day (don't over water) and see if it is better.
Cut out those yellow or soft leaves to save plant's energy.
