電力站失火大溫6.2萬戶停電

溫哥華中部至東南部地區，以及烈治文和本拿比部分地區，周六晚上9時許突然停電。據報起因是一個電力分配站發生小火，經卑詩水電公司搶修後，在晚上10時35分左右恢復供電。

溫市消防局迅速把該場小火撲滅，事件中無人受傷。約有6.2萬戶電力用戶受到影響。停電區域主要在溫市12街以南至海旁大道，以及甘比街以東至界限街。

停電期間，架空列車金馬素─百老匯站至鐵道鎮站停止服務。

另外，由於交通燈號停止運作，導致多宗輕微車禍，幸沒有嚴重受傷報告。

uninterrupt power supply..

it provide about 15 min of computer power when power is out

Usually I will call my friend to check it for me, the announcement is pretty accurate and real-time. With the time of power recoverage, you can plan on either keep working or leaving...

One time, my workplace has power outage around noon. So we just went out for lunch.
Then after coming back from lunch, still no power...and when we called BC hydro, they said the estimated time is 5pm. So I was thinking to just stay and hang around till 3 then leave la...(my laptop can last 1 or 2 hours).

Then..know what..my boss asks me to have meeting wor... >_<
And meeting till 5:30 or so..office started to get dark. So when I just start packing my stuff and prepare to leave, power comes back....激死!
