Hi girls,

Just wondering if you guys would know that if eyelashes will grow back after cutting them? I accidentally cut part of my eyelashes off today, and my bf told me that his sister said once they are cut, they never grow back. Please help ~~

yea they should grow back. but if you're really worried. then you can try to use this eyelash gel by talika. it makes your lashes stronger and longer too. but you'll need to use it for at least 1 week to see results.

Gum yau ng ho gum said that to her, it's already very charm to cut the eyelashes..

.................." dou ng hai how dumb jei", I ....... ar...., accidentally cut/shave my eyebrow when I was in my early teen.. ...ha... can't stop teenager curiosity .LOL

But bad news for you is, my right brow grow back now BUT it's relatively thin. If you look closely, there is an empty spot in the middle of my eye brow............................

and that's where my stupid curiosity price...

hey but doesnt the older generation say that if you slightly trim the eyelashes off a baby.. it'll make the eyelashes grow back even longer!?

aigh..i know i'm so dumb...

i had to use tape on my eyelid yesterday coz it turned single-folded...but a small part of the end wasn't sticking on the skin and lifted up so i tried to cut it off...but i was too lazy to take it off and cut it..and plus, i put my eyeshadow on already so it will mess up the make up when i take it off and stick it on again (and it won't stick well too after that)...so i just tried to cut it at an angle...but i didn't know some eyelashes got in the way...until i saw some hair below my eye

it's not the whole set of eyelashes are cut off...just the middle section...and it still have 1/2 the length left..so not completely gone (thx god!) i guess i can use the excuse to use fake eyelashes for now...aigh..i hope they will grow back la

不用怕﹐我相信會長回來的﹐如果太擔心﹐去美容用品店買那些幫助睫毛生長液塗上﹐也許能更長得快一點﹐暫時就用假睫毛遮一遮吧。。。不要不開心喔~~~

Does Vaseline Really Make Your Eyelashes Grow Longer?

One beauty secret that is starting to make waves is the idea of applying Vaseline to eyelashes to make them grow longer. Some live by this method while others are skeptical. A few who have tried it saw no difference. So what’s the deal? Vaseline can do a lot of things but can it really give you fuller, thicker lashes?

Vaseline, also known as petroleum jelly, has been used in households for years. Vaseline works well as a moisturizer and has also been used in cosmetics and natural hair care. No one knows when the combination of Vaseline and eyelashes came into existence or who came up with the idea, but for those with naturally short or brittle lashes, this beauty secret is a dream come true.

It’s hard to say outright whether Vaseline can make eyelashes grow longer or not. Because the results are so up in the air, it would be safer to say that this method varies from person to person. Regardless of whether your lashes grow longer or not, what the use of Vaseline can do, however, is provide excellent conditioning and moisturization for lashes that are dry and brittle. It’s a fact that as we get older, our eyelashes shed each day and are replaced with new lashes - like the hair on our head. Applying Vaseline to your eyelashes helps strengthen them and when the old lashes fall out, the presence of Vaseline helps the newer ones grow in thicker and, in some cases, longer.

The great thing about this method is that it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. The only thing you’ll need is a jar of regular petroleum jelly. You can apply the Vaseline with either your fingers or using a clean and unused mascara wand. Only a light coat is needed. Dab some Vaseline on your finger or roll a light amount onto the mascara wand and gently graze it over your lashes. The best time to do this method is at night before you go to bed. There isn’t anything wrong with wearing Vaseline during the day but applying it at night makes it less likely for you to rub it off during the day and frees you up to wear mascara (these two shouldn’t be mixed together). Wash off the Vaseline when you wake up and you’re set to go!

In order to see results, you have to apply the Vaseline every night, not two or three nights out of the week. For some people it takes a few weeks to see a change, while for others it takes a few months. Even if your lashes don’t grow very long, the Vaseline will do a good job of making sure your lashes are shiny, healthy and strong.

i think should grow back gwa because you cut the eyelash not pull the eyelash from the root??
