1) 一心面典 (METROTOWN)

不是說大家要杯葛他們﹐而是在你們幫襯時﹐不需慣性地加 10% 了。。。若大家真的欣賞他們的服務﹐當然給多少小費悉隨尊便﹐可是﹐若不知情之下無意給了 20% 小費就有點冤﹐不是嗎﹖所以消費者應該有知情權!

Actually, I think some rests, when they give you the bill, the "TIP" section will show 10% or 15% or 18% ... but you can change that! (say showing tip: 15%, ok? and most the time, people will just press "YES") ..

they have been doing that before HST was introduced

plus I think I remember they would remind customer tips have been included in the bill too....
but yeah, it's not mandatory. Customers have the right not to pay tips too

重點就係響呢度。。。我唔介意比﹐但係若服務使我成餐飯都食得好激氣的話﹐唔比 TIPS 係惟一我可以表示不滿的方法﹐連呢樣都剝奪埋我就會好嬲囉

就係因為勁多人濫用呢個"服務得衰可以唔俾"既權利所以先要咁做姐.....

上面個間日本野all you can eat....真係委到盡....
仲要話TIPS唔係咁少...唔係咁計囉....
不盡都嬲HST前計左10%TIPS先再加....
佢話唔係囉,,,,SERVICE 差到爆
狂係到吹last order...又吹人比錢....
總之就.......麻麻地

A Korean All-You-Can-Eat restaurant on Robson St., I forgot the name but be careful, they didn't mention before you dine but charged you 10% tips automatically, and their food & services SUCKS!!!

上次唔記得叫佢拎走個辣椒油,比佢加o左錢..

wow I know sometimes restaurants are pretty horrible but I didn't expect to be as horrible as this....which really sucks....well all should complain about the no auto tips in the bill!!

it's really stupid to be auto tipped since it's not mandatory or else that loses the meaning of TIPS...if it's mandatory it's like adding price on each item we order *arg*

anyone ever argued that the 10% or 15% shouldn't be on the bill?

I don't want to pay for something that i don't think it's worth it.

I think if they tell you ahead, before you sit down and order or when you call for the reservation, it's OK. Most restaurants put an auto 15% to 18% tip for large group of 8 or more. But if they do it in a sneaky way, that's totally wrong.

yes, bad experience with Fish on Rice too. Almost started a fist fright with them. I would stay away for sure.

If paying tips is not by-law and IF the service really sucks that made me has an unhappy experience, I will not give a cent for tip

they sucks, their noodle are not yummy (for me)
and the thing that I fxxking hate them the most is, why +$0.2 for hot sauce?? the price of the food there is not very cheap. Even the food court in those more popular places like parker place, yaohan or aberdeen will not charge for hot sauce

but then i still go to sushi garden, it was that waitress... sigh...

long time ago, my frds went to hotpot in richmond. she did give tips, but a little under 10%. the waitress came out the door and ask for more.
