Our Card Needs A Name!

Hong Kong has the Octopus Card, in London it's the Oyster and in Boston they've got the Charlie Card. Our card needs a name too, and we want your help! The name can be anything – seafood, a local hero or something iconic to Vancouver.

Between October 12 and November 8, 2010, enter our card-naming contest and you could win an iPad! Plus, in 2013, you'll also get a new electronic fare card loaded with a year of free transit!

As well, to possibly help inspire you, I did a bit of wrangling with Excel and hashed out a rough list of the most entered names in the contest. In no particular order, they are:

Green
Salmon
Coast
Orca
Whale
Totem
Otter
Canuck
Lobster
Go

I agree that it's not a good name. could be named like "GoGreen Card" or "GoCanucksGo Card" LOL
