死啦，我咁大個人
除咗買運動衫/波鞋最起勁外
一講到買o的女仔o的/斯文o的o既衫時就頭都大.........
有時出去睇衫見到o的衫好靚但又唔知點著，驚著錯會好肉酸......所以次次都係最尾得個睇字.....

其實可以有咩解救呢.........

i am not very good either... I walked around CWB in HK for the whole afternoon with my friend. She was buying clothes... I was just looking... I am usually lost when there are so many things and shops around me...
And I don't really know what style to get... so I stick with simple things... (jeans and t-shirts @@)
My friend is the "ying" style, I am not that... And I can't do "pretty pretty cute lady style" neither...

nono, i am not an IT girl la
just that I grew up like a tomboy (people seriously thought I was a boy when I was in elementary) and didn't really have anyone to go out and shopping with so never learned how to dress better lor

yeah, probably is my bf has better fashion sense than I do +____+
he can dress quite handsome sometimes ^_^;;;

every time I need to go to a dinner banquet, I was so head scratching to buy the dress....
One year, I actually wore the SAME dress to 4 or 5 weddings... Cos I don't want to go throught the process of buying more dresses.

I was lucky this time, I need to get a dress for attending my friend's wedding in HK. And the first dress that I tried was OK. So, I just bought it. My friend is happy with it too. It blend well with the other bridesmaids' dresses.

I am an IT girl... It's sometimes hard to judge getting a $150 dress vs... a $150 tripod. And things like: "that purse is $250!!! wah... I can get a new lense or 1/4 of new hardwood floor for the sitting room"
I don't like to spend too much on clothes neither. I did a few times (>$400 boots...

) I totally regrat that I spent that kind of money lor. vs some girls feel good after shopping.

but my friend's 姊妹 didn't custom made dresses. We all bought our own in the similar colour tone. And 3 of the girls actually got them from a "not famous yet" local designer. So their dresses are very "ying". Others got theirs from brandname stores. So lucky that mine blend in.

That's the point....so I never buy cloth online...
Even when I think I like a piece of clothing, when I wear it, it may not be nice either...
I guess it's because my out of proportion body shape...

其實我都係同你地幾位姊妹一樣都係做D接近男性化D嘅行業，又係由細個嘅時候開始到結婚之前都係比較 boyish D 同不收遍幅 D, 結婚同咗老公一齊之後先發覺我個樣係會影響道身邊嘅人，所以先開始注意吓點打扮吓同試吓化妝，花咗一段時間係好有改善，但係耐咗就發覺潮流哩D野，其實係一個比個幾個行業為咗搵錢以做出嚟嘅現象，一般人如果無無限金錢係好難 always look trendy嘅，所以宜家我通常一年唔會一次過買一款式買好多件 or 如果根本唔襯自己果D 就一 D 都唔會買，大部分都係買 D 自己可以著好耐嘅款，多D mix N match, 著得唔差就算～有特別場合先會去買需要嘅裙同 matching嘅配套因為哩D衫通常 end up都係著道果幾野。
點講都好，我覺得做到一個你自己嘅 style 你就唔駛理其他人點點點，因為你唔係一定要同其他人都一樣樣.

you know it's just that some clothing is specially designed for particular body shape lor~
somet clothes, if you are too skinny, the clothes might look like wore on a "hanger" instead~~~

同意，潮流興嘅嘢唔一定啱身。多啲mix and match反而會特別啲，突出啲。
同埋有時我幾鍾意designer嘅clothing，唔係話要咩LV嗰啲名牌，而係啲local designer嘅pieces，價錢未必會太貴，不過就unique啲。Main st都好多嗰啲designer boutique架。

I think you have to decide which style you want to be and what types of clothes fit you better sin.. then you can narrow down to hunt for your clothes.. u can always go shopping and grab some clothes to try it on.. then you can get better picture!
For me, due to my height (15x) lol ~ I wear one piece dress better than jeans.. imagine u bought a pair of jeans and u have to cut almost 1/4 of it.. gees......
Also, if you are tomboy style..of coz u won't try something pinky or with laces right?? you can wear sweater with jeans plus boots.. still can be very lady ah~
of coz.. it's also depends ur hairstyle too la.. u try to match from the top to the bottom..plus ur purse =D

but I am not confidence with my legs so that's the biggest reasons why I don't wear dress +_+

so for you, do you just try on the clothes anyway even you don't think you are going to buy it?
cuz maybe I am a bit weird, I don't usually want to bother people to let me try on unless I really think I am going to buy it lor...... (too shy?)

yea..why not? it's not weird la.. if u dun try it..how will u know fit m fit?? just go with a girl friend and shop around the clothing stores..*DUN ASK ur bf to go with u hahaaa he can't wait that long lol) of coz for chinese store..dun try it on la if u wont buy it... they are not that "friendly" if u are "wan gut"~~

If you are not confidence on ur legs..then u can wear long Boots with leggings?? to cover up? mm...or high heels that make ur legs look slimmer? *but i guess u wont get used to high heels*

Yes yes, if you are not confident on your legs, you can always wear darker leggings underneath, and match it with high heals, boots, or even flat. But heels always make our legs look skinnier and longer

I love heels keke.

I think maybe you can set a girl shopping date, to go shopping with a few of your girl friends, and just go try on anything you like, or anything your friends think will look good on you, so its more fun.

I have same problem la.....I too have NO CONFIDENT in my legs at all....and I can't even fit in 99% of the long boots... >_<
But I found wearing slim fit jeans, w/ short boots or mid size...with some heels...definitely helps!
I seldom shop at Asian stores...most won't have my size...for Western store...I don't mind trying la... usually the sales don't care... you really don't know unless you try on...

我會建議你最小有一 set basic 嘅配套，例如 start with black and white 哩 D 唔會難襯得去邊嘅顏色，最 basic嘅嘅咪係淨black tee/shirt white tee/shirt short/long sleeves，跟注基本上 on top of that你加咩背心呀外套呀再加D咩頸鍊呀頸巾呀，下面就點都係 D 時款D嘅 bottom (哩個好難唔keep 住 update), 試吓買 arm 自己身材長度嘅裙, 想懶可以試吓買 one piece裙，不過襯裙嘅高爭鞋就一定要買D 同買boots for winter. 咁跟住你會發覺雙腿差D野，你好自然就會識去買絲襪呀果D嫁喇

Hey 嘉嘉, sounds like a good, stylish leather jacket may work for you (at least for early fall and for spring) and it should last very long.

I do have a leather jacket but I never want to wear it... cos I don't want to look "ying" with my stupid face.

for heels, not too high is ok lor. Probably within 2 inches, but yeah I am not used to heels

would the jacket + a 長身 tank top looks ok? (does it have to be 長身 underneath? since my legs are not that slim) and for shoes, what is the best to wear? I don't know what color to match lor >.< If i wear boots, should I match the jacket with a black boots also?

Actually, leggings or "jeggings' (Jeans like legging) can make legs look really slim ga! As for leggings, you can match it with a longer top, if u want to cover the hip area. And as for jeggings, can wear it with a basic color top, and match it with a nice jacket, then would look really nice.

其實我都想知點解。。。可能係因為 bottom 會影響成個線條掛？
不過近呢幾連算幾 stable吓都係慶 slim fit 款，所以好似其他姊妹話劑， legging 呀 jegging 呀買深色 or 黑色唔會錯得去邊嫁喇！肥小腿就唔好著短 boot咯～其實你都ok 高又有青春就著咩都 ok嫁啦！最緊要有自信！

Most of my clothes are one-piece dress too haha~ if the one piece dress is a bit shorter.. i will match it with a mini skirt (i have those 3 layers skirt white/ black, and bubble skirt) to make it longer.. and match it with high heels boots! =D

其實我都想知點解。。。可能係因為 bottom 會影響成個線條掛？
不過近呢幾連算幾 stable吓都係慶 slim ...

不過對依方面真係記性麻麻，轉個頭又唔記得 =w=;;;

個網好得意喎! 可以自己mix and match o的衫get個idea~~~~
