Just wondering does anyone have suggestions on a all you can eat hot pot place that can fit a group of more than 10people? I know ying kee is big enough, but wanna see if there is also other choices lor......

my frd had her bday party at fatty cow(vancouver). i called a week in advance to make reservation because we have a group of 16-20 ppl. we want to make sure, that we get the large tables together, which they don't have a lot ( i had been there, when they first open. they only have 4 round tables.) we were thinking about having the two round tables near the door.

when i called to make reservation, they let me pick if we want to sit in the long booth or two round tables. we picked the long booth because they said we can have four pots instead of three pots.

so yeah...

i went to "little fat sheep" on Alexandra (same mall as 牛仔) a while ago and noticed that they had 2 larger round tables side by side....i recall seeing 6 ppl at one table and there was still room left....didn't notice the pots tho....

i remember we had a group of at least 12 before at KK dollar hot pot...we managed to reserve a room and everyone had their own pot....long time ago too....

or 砂煲 maybe?  not sure about quality or service....

I think Cattle could fit if I call them to reserve a table and I do like their food
but the only thing I didn't like about them is that they try to get you out ASAP the time limit is up lor

    well I went there few years ago....and we do agree things were alright and more choices there plus cheaper there but then it gets worse and worse and I think it is one of the earliest location that has all you can eat hot pot but too bad it gets worse and closed down ba.....

and cattle lamb in richmond? the one in landsdown? I thought there's no all you can eat so it might be pretty expansive to eat there......but another thing is...you have so MANY people I guess after sharing the price might be alright ba depend on how you order....

    Hm...it's in the mall next to aberdeen's parking lot. On 2nd floor.
It's not expensive...I think similar price as other all u can eat hot pot.

i know it's like after $25 it's like all you can eat.....
but $25 + tips and tax + drinks could be quite expensive too bor~~~

do they include eggies? or still have to charge extra per egg?

Yes they use gel fire. But food is cook relatively fast. I don't feel I have to wait for ages. I guess because it's one person per pot, so it's not too "much" to cook.

no, that's a different mall
fibbi is talking about the one closer to No.3 road

the one you are talking about is above Lido and it's called Ninkazu
I had thought about that place too, but having sushi and hotpot and the same time probably is not the brightest idea........cuz I don't think people would have a big stomach to fit so many things in.......

I think I am thinking about 新鏞記 now.....
cuz my frd has a top gun card so I can probably just borrow it from her and get 20% off
plus they have 菊花茶/酸梅湯 and sauces included, and since it's a big group so price-wise it probably won't be too much different from AYCE......and also no need to worry about time limit...

My group went to K K Dollar
it was prety good cos some of us have food allergy
so everyone had their own pot worked out for everyone

price er.. is slightly higher than other hot pot I find
Probably cos we ordered some drinks that's why...

service @ Chubby lamb was not bad....quite attentive i would say.....but yea, towards the end, they just kept on rushing us like all the other AYCE places....
