VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Drinking and driving no longer tops the list of the biggest dangers behind the wheel.  More Canadians now think texting is an even bigger traffic concern.

And not that impaired driving is any less of a concern, but a poll from the Canadian Automobiles Association says the distraction of texting has pushed ahead of drunkenness.

It says it's the biggest single traffic safety for drivers across the country.

News1130 hit the streets of Vancouver to find out what you think.  We spoke with Miles who says he catches a lot of people breaking the law.  "It's pretty dangerous.  I travel the roads every day and I see it every day.  It's actually really scary, texting on your cell phone."

The poll shows it's a "young driver danger," because road-texters are mostly under 30 and are mostly fully aware of laws in most provinces cracking down on the habit.
