I wonder, why American still don't learn to drive? Big fat summer tire doesn't work on ice/snow.... and keep press on gas, and spin the tire, won't take you anyway ..

I doubt .. they probably dont have the budget .. for snow/winter gear ..

Actually Seattle buses do have chain, but then if it's really plain ice in hills.., then nothing works...! It would have been nice if there are some additional snow for extra tractions...!

you could clearly see the bus had chain on its rear tires. When it is plain ice, nothing works like Chobit said.

Yeah, as EL said, ice is pain .. snow isn't that bad ..

Worst, snow on ice ....

May be city of Seattle doesn't want to put Salt/Sand ..

Maybe ABS won't help here. But how come the 4 wheels on the white corolla were all locked?
