I have a VISA already (CIBC Dividean up to $50k then no more benefit

) Which Master Card provide us the best benefit in town? I'm using HSBC normal one with free annual fee but nothing else.....

Any cash rebate cards are good, just make sure they are not tiered on the payout.

I am using Citi Enrich Platinum, MBNA Premier Rewards Platinum Plus and PC Mastercard. Based on my current spending, I am getting about $100 of cashback at the end of the year combined.

If you don't want to pay for annual fees, the best rebate card is very likely MBNA's Smart Cash Platinum Plus. It offers 1% rebate on all purchases, and 3% rebate on gas and groceries purchases with no tiered rebates at all. And for the first 1/2 year, you get 5% rebate on gas and groceries rebate.

So Philip, make sure you take a good look at the MBNA Smart Cash card. As you are already an MBNA customer, I think you can very easily change your card over to the Smart Cash card and get more rebate from MBNA.

Additionally, from my research, VISA cards generally do not offer as good a deal compared to Master Cards. If you know of a good VISA card with attractive benefits, I would very much like to hear about them.

VISA CIBC Dividean Platinum provide dividean credit back from .5% from 1st $1 beginning of each year, then 1% from certain amount spent, 1.5% from another certain amount spent finally up to 2% till $50,000. after $50,000 no more dividean credit! So max of each year about $730 something than that's it!

But that card has an annual fee, right? With my modest level of spending, I couldn't justify any cards that charges an annual fee la.

I think every credit card out there has some sort of practical spending ceiling in the sense that it won't be worthwhile to use that card anymore beyond that point. So ideally, the best thing to do is to have multiple card and maximize your benefits and perks. Of course, if you could really afford to spend that much, then perhaps you wouldn't be as cheap as I am la~

I use CityBank Petro Point Master Card because get 2 cents rebates per litre. That would be almost 1.5% rebate.
On top of that, with every 14000 points (that's $1400 spending) would get you $10 card saving on gas. Many times the in store purchases offer double points. So I bought lotto ticket and newspaper there.
Petro Points can also xfer to Asia Miles on 1 to 1 basis which is pretty good! Other air miles card is not free like this one!
