谷歌人力分析師，得回答：「這間房間你要用多少籃球才能填滿？」

要應徵IBM 軟體工程師，你必須知道「在不使用磅秤的情況下，如何幫1頭大象秤重」。

英特爾公司（Intel）如何面試系統驗證工程師？他們問：「你有8枚便士，7枚一樣重、1枚比較輕，你有1個秤，你要如何在3次機會中找出那個最輕的？」
註:係秤, 唔係兩邊平衡既秤

應徵高盛（Goldman Sachs）分析員得先回答：「如果你縮小成1枝鉛筆大小、被放在攪拌機內，你要如何逃脫？」

在1到1000的範圍內，要你猜中1個特定數字，但會提示你『高一點』或『低一點』，你最少要猜幾次？」如果你回答的出來，你就有機會在「臉書」（Facebook）當軟體工程師。

應徵亞馬遜網路商店經理：「如果這場比賽有5623名參賽者，需要比賽幾場才能決定最後贏家？」

蘋果對軟體品管工程師的應徵者說：「有3個盒子，1個只裝蘋果、1個只裝橘子、另1個則是兩者都裝，但盒上的標籤都標錯。你要如何打開1個箱子，拿出1個水果，僅看這個水果，你要如何立即把箱子上的標籤都更正過來？」

要找到1個合適的人來擔任業務員職位，保險巨擎美國紐約人壽保險公司（New York Life）就問了這個問題：「你為什麼認為只有一小部分人收入超過15萬美元？」

尼爾森公司（The Nelsen Co.）應該不需要實地調查，但他們問面試者：「一周來，這座城市喝掉多少瓶啤酒？」

One of the local software companies that I had interview with used the same question.

A lot of these are really easy wor? They aren't even IQ questions or brain teasers -- just more like basic logic questions je mah.

Those computer questions are too easy, they ask way more complicated than these basic binary search question.

因為籃球不會寫字，所以不可能填：滿

直接問大象：你知道你有多重嗎

秤完之後，錢我們平分對吧

如果我喊救命，你會救我吧

我不喜歡猜，只有知道和不知道，而且我趕時間，你有話快說

我認為先要叫那個標錯標籤的人進來問話，立即

「你為什麼認為只有一小部分人收入超過15萬美元？」

我為什麼認為只有一小部分人收入超過15萬美元是因為我來應徵。否則我無必要這樣認為。

「一周來，這座城市喝掉多少瓶啤酒？」

係我未答你之前不如你先答我：請定唔請。得得我知你唔洗講我明。我知道我應該點做。係呢，你頭先問我咩話。

You don't have to know the answer to any of these to get hired...

Funny thing is, a friend of mine was interviewing someone over the phone and asked me for brain teasers, I googled and gave him 'how many golf balls does it take to fill a emptied out 747'. LOL.

Neh, the answer have nothing to do with how good the candidate is. His interview was over before that question was asked. The interviewer is just trying to f' around w/ the intervewee. Just relax, stay composed, and say anything that makes any remote sense and you'd have considered passing these brain teasers.

I work for one of the largest software companies in Seattle. And I can tell you nowadays a lot of companies don't ask these types of questions any more. They tend to ask more practical/job-related person as they are more focused on the quality of the applicant overall instead of the just the intelligence.
As someone mentioned above, the goal may not be to get an exact answer. One question I was asked was "design an alarm clock for a blind person". The goal is to know about how customer focused you are, and what your thought process would be.
