What type of "veggie" you are referring to, budda style or western style? New type or old type...?

, you've got 2 I'm going to recommend... All Taiwanese style/new style veggie... haha, but they are quite tasty compared to the others, I think I like 雅室友more...

Traditional one you can visit the temples...

When I see emailyahoo reply "All" I know he's not very familiar with what "veggie" can cover...

There are 4 main categories, which are:

1) Lacto-ovo-veggie;
2) Lacto-veggie;
3) Ovo-veggie; &
4) Vegan...

I usually go to the one in Richmond on No 3 road, 禪悅齋...  is pretty good...

雅室友素食 is bad
very bad
very expensive for mediocre food

i'd suggest eating western vegetarian food.  variety and taste, as well as price are more reasonable that ALL chinese veg food.

one very good and popular one is the foundation on kingsway and main
another one that is also very popular for burittos is called budgies burittos also on kingsway and main.  on the same block there's another restaurant that serves veg food called wallflower, which is not bad too.

For western vegan food, my friend recommend Grub on Main.
I have been there for regular menu and really like their food. (very good value even tho bread is not complimentary but you don't really need bread to fill up there) My friend who is a strict vegan told me that Grub can do very good vegan dishes. They may not have it on the regular or daily menu (post on a blackboard) but just ask the server and the chef is very vegan friendly.

vs at hotel with pre-arrangement at a bridal shower brunch only gave her a plate of salad... @@

that's good I am trying out Grub this week. I know a lot of vegetarians like Foundation, but I actually don't find the food there is any good at all...

I just went there today, pretty good
dim sum is 10% off and no tea charge

hey girl
I went to FOUNDATION twice and I liked their food but not so much the atmosphere: loud music. youthful, chill, artistic, non-classy dinning.  It's on Main Street by  6 or 7th intersection.

I'm into the traditional type of vegeterian if I feel vegeterian.
I highly recommend the vegeterian restaurant inside the temple of Richmond.
It's called International Buddhist Society on 9160 Steveston Highway.

On other nights, I like Bodhi Choi Heung Vegetarian Restaurant.
It's on Fraser.
It's got a whole variety of vegeterian dishes. If you're not so into traditional vegeterian, this restaurant you might like

ENJOY, GIRL
Let us know which one you liked wooo

I've never been a big fan of red meat, I love  vegetables and fruits.
I design vegetarian and vegan menu for restaurants.
At home, 85+%  vegetables with little fish/white meat.
Red meat occasionally. I create a lot of vegetarian
recipes and  I coach the healthy chef competition teams
